Oregon Symphony Portland Concert reviews
It was like a high school reunion for Goth Dorks.
The opening act, looking like someone's guitar tech, came out. What if he IS the opening act, I said to my wife. Sooo sad. She laughed. But he was.
Assimilate, Worlock, and Far too Frail were highlights for me. Oregon Symphony put on a dance heavy set list of newer material and some old favs. Their encore was all vintage SP and was FANTASTIC!! As I read in a review of the San Francisco show, Ogre "still gots it".
Be prepared to see some sad stuff if you go and you are in your late 30's-late 40's. Just watch SP and don't scan the crowd too much. Goth and Industrial is not a look that ages well. 'Nuff said.
